Found in a small village in the Philippines, this saltwater crocodile drew global attention. Lolong was heavier than a car and longer than most boats. He spent his final years under observation and still holds the record for the largest crocodile ever recorded.
Cassius – 17 ft 11 in (5.48 m)

Unnamed (Borneo, 2012) – 19 ft (5.8 m)

This impressive creature was pulled from a river in Borneo and startled locals with its bulk. It measured 19 feet long, had a wide snout, and dark, patterned skin. After it was secured and examined, it was safely released back into nearby wetlands.
