Least Obedient Dog Breeds in the World

All dogs deserve an abundance of love and attention from their owners as well as proper training, especially when they are young. However, certain breeds are more stubborn than others when it comes to obedience. This may be due to their level of intelligence, independence and mischievousness, which makes them a bit more resistant to training.

It’s important to remember that every dog has its own personality and genetic makeup, so a lot of kindness and patience goes a long way in teaching them obedience, problem-solving and socialization skills.

These are the least obedient dog breeds. But they still make loving, adorable companions.

Confused to see border collies on this list? There’s a perfectly good reason for it. While the agile, intense border collie is known for its boundless energy and unmatched drive to work, border collies weren’t designed to be laid-back household pets.

When people impulse buy a collie after falling in love with their lush fur and bubbly personality, it doesn’t take long for them to realize they’re in over their heads. Border collies can be extremely obedient, but only if they’re put to work.

If they don’t have a job to do, they often take to herding anything and anyone, including children.
