The Bolognese is a cousin of the Havanese and the bichon frise, but with so much more fluff to love. They’re quite a rare dog breed, so puppies can cost thousands. That said, their high price tag comes with an amazing personality.
They’re extremely intelligent and adept at solving problems. More importantly, they’re closely attuned with their owner’s body language. If you’re sad, the Bolognese will magically appear to offer a kiss and plentiful snuggles.
The only downsides? The Bolognese requires hours of weekly grooming, and they’re miserable if left home alone for hours on end. If you have the time for a cute and cuddly furball to sit by your side all day, the Bolognese is a superb choice.
